Box Tops

 

Congratulations Park Elementary School for reaching our goal. You helped earn over $1,000 dollars in box tops money for our school!!!

 
Every 50 box tops equal one piece of recess equipment for your class So far this year we've received 2 printers for the library, 33 flash drives, and PE and recess equipment. Great job so far.

Park School is also involved in the California Recycling program. Help support this program by sending your plastic and aluminum recyclables to school with your child.

Park Community Club Events

Here is an overview of our calendar of events:

May- We will celebrate Teacher/Staff Appreciation Day

June 5th - We are partnering with the Parent Resource Center to do a School Clean up Day

 

We are always looking for volunteers and even have a few board positions still open.  If you are interested, please contact Tonya Thornburgh, President at 510-589-8941.  Please remember, for the safety of our children, all volunteers must be fingerprinted and TB cleared and all children must be accompanied by an adult at our events.

DATES TO REMEMBER

Important Notice

Don't forget that we will start the state CST tests on Monday, April 16, 2012.  the testing window will end on Friday, May 18, 2012.  The students will test from 7:45-10:00 in the morning.  Please make sure to have your child to school on time and to make all appointments after 10:00am.  It is also VERY important that your child be at school everyday during this testing window.

No hay que olvidar que vamos a empezar las pruebas CST del estado el lunes, 16 de abril 2012. La ventana de la prueba finalizará el viernes, 18 de mayo 2012. Los estudiantes se pondrán a prueba a partir de las 7:45-10:00 de la mañana. Por favor, asegúrese de tener a su hijo(a) en la escuela a tiempo y hacer todas las citas después de las 10:00 am. También es MUY importante que su hijo(a) esté en la escuela todos los días durante este periodo de pruebas.
